1253005|crankshaft for Cat S6kt

CAT S6KT crankshaft(5I7671/125-3005) is made from high-quality raw materials 40Cr. Compared to cast iron crankshafts, they offer 27.9% higher tensile strength and 78.6% higher yield strength. The unique induction hardening process creates a 3-5 mm hardened layer (HRC 52-58), which improves wear resistance by 15% compared to nitrided cast iron. The process is straightforward but strict. The crankshaft blank is forged, heat treated, then hardened with medium-frequency induction. After that, the journals are ground several times until the surface is smooth and within tolerance. Finally, each unit is balanced and tested. We don't ship anything without going through these steps.
